Itinerary
Day 1Jun 22, 2025
After departing this morning from Akron, Ohio, we make our first stop at Henry Ford Museum. Following lunch on your own we then stop at Fair Lane, home of Clara and Henry Ford. This evening is yours to explore in Livonia, Michigan.
Day 2Jun 23, 2025
Following breakfast, we make a stop at Ford Rouge Plant in Dearborn for a guided tour. This evening, we enjoy an included dinner at Stafford’s Weathervane Restaurant. (B,D)
Day 3Jun 24, 2025
Following breakfast we depart for Star Line Ferry dock in St. Ignace, Michigan. Once we arrive on Mackinac Island we will proceed to an included carriage ride with stops at Surrey Hill Square and Arch Rock. We'll enjoy a group lunch at The Grand Hotel this afternoon. After lunch, enjoy free time to peruse the Grand Hotel and Mackinac Island with its quaint shops, stores, and hotels, and see beautiful flowers in bloom around the island. This evening is yours to enjoy at Kewadin Shores Casino(B,L)
Day 4Jun 25, 2025
Following breakfast we'll enjoy Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum and Lighthouse. This afternoon, we'll enjoy lunch at Tahquamenon Falls Pub inside Tahquamenon Falls State Park. Following lunch, enjoy a narrated boat tour through the Soo Locks. Enjoy another night at Kewadin Shores Casino and hotel. (B,L)
Day 5Jun 26, 2025
Following breakfast, arrive at Music House Museum, This museum houses an astounding collection of 1920s and 1930s automated musical instruments ranging from player pianos to orchestrions to large theater pipe organs. This evening we'll enjoy an Elk viewing carriage ride, gourmet dinner and wine tasting. (B,D)
Day 6Jun 27, 2025
Following breakfast, take a narrated shipwreck tour from Alpena, Michigan into Thunder Bay where you can see the shipwrecks from our vessel’s glass bottom viewing area. Then, Peruse Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center. Then, return home with new found memories. (B)
